Vintage (circa 1938) Noritake china dinnerware in Marvelle pattern. Ten complete (except for two saucers) serving sets plus six platters, bowls - 54 pieces in all! All pieces in excellent condition - no cracks, chips, crazing, fading - except for small chip on two pieces (see photo). Each serving includes dinner plate, (footed) cup and saucer, salad plate, and dessert plate. Other pieces are: large and medium-sized platters, gravy bowl, large serving bowl with lid and handles, and a medium-sized serving bowl. Noritake's Marvelle pattern (no.304) has an ivory background with a white center surrounded by pastel blue-and-gold rococo borders. At the center of most pieces is a bouquet of flowers, and the outer rims are edged in gold. Successful bidder must pay all shipping charges or pick up at sellers location (Wallingford, PA). Seller will securely pack and ship per buyer's preference.
