The marking on the bottom of the right foot is ASv carved into the bottom of her shoe, on the left foot there is an A. Her body is carved out of one piece of wood & her broom is another piece of wood. According to an e-bay seller, she was carved by Anton Sveen in a small village outside Lilli-hammer in Norway, possibly during the 1960’s. He hand carved, hand stained (for the coloring) and hand rubbed and buffed for many hours with Danish Oil. I could not find any info on him on the computer, myself. She measures 6 " tall. She is made of a pine colored hard wood. She is perfect condition, no cracks in the wood. You will be quite pleased by this fine example of folk, Norwegian art. Shipping will be $10 to the USA via Priority Mail including insurance, $15 rest of the world. Shipping: Buyer agrees to pay for all shipping and handling costs. Shipping/Handling will be determined at the end of the auction, unless stated in the auction.
