One Vintage New Old Stock Stanley 400 Mitre Vise. This vise is very versatile, it swivels and tilts in several directions for ease of use. This vise and the one in the sealed box were purchased new by my father over 30 years ago. He had the idea of opening a do it yourself picture frame shop that never got off the ground. He purchased 6 vises originally. Two were sold many years ago and I sold two more for $450 on ebay last year. Recently while cleaning out an old storage space I found the last two. The one for sale in this auction does not come w/ the original box [box was beat and discarded] but it is brand new old stock and never used. T is no rust whatsoever. I will give the winning bidder the option to purchase the second vise which is STILL SEALED in the original box [pictured]. To be clear, this auction is for ONE vise w/NO box. It is rare to see a new old stock vise like this come up for sale. In fact the only NOS ones I've seen for sale are the ones I've offered.
