Vintage Table Top Telephone LampDated: November 1956 Western Elect. Bell System Additonal Photos BELOW! Up For Auction we have a very nice Bell Telephone by Western Elect. Co. I was told by the Ladies at the Chruch that a man that worked for The Bell Telephone Company, made the Lamp-Phone from his Vintage collection of Old phones that He kept when He retired from Bell Co. The phone is nice and clean and the lamp works, sorry no Shade. The Dial turns, but sticks by the #5. I have not and will not take the phone apart and have not seen the insides, it is heavy, unboxed weight is 4 pounds even. The brass/gold tone lamp pole will be unscrewed for shipping but that is all. Numbers on the bottom (see Photo) are: C/D - 500 - 11-56 (this is were I got the year) Red and white sticker states: Made by A J.A. Company - JAA in pen is written: G.Q. Products 8-5 - 36 Receiver dose not come off Pads on bottom are thick and heavy and nice A great Phone item from a Age long past and a great addition to your phone collection or just a nice light for your night stand. ***- Please note : I had to cut the Plug cord to take it apart for shipping, so you will have to rewire it to make the lamp work!*** **This item is being sold for a local Church, 75% of the profit will go to the Outreach Center to Provide food to the needy.
