Vintage Oak Machinist Chest Box Cabinet FULL OF TOOLS Lock & Keys 8 Drawers 1958 One vintage machinist chest, fully functional with working lock and 4 keys; full of tools. The drawers slide and move easily, the lock works like the day it was made. The stamp on the drawer is dated 1958. The drawers are lined with green felt. This cabinet measures 12" in height, 20 1/2" wide, 7 3/4" depth. The handle is leather, it is soft but firm. Filled with the tools it weighs 32 pounds. This chest is sturdy and stable, it could be used as it is and/or cleaned up a bit. The front cover with the lock is also easy to move and use. The outside shows wear and tear, some of it is rusty. One corner reinforcing bracket and metal edging is loose from the cabinet, see pic 11. There is some numbers on the opposite side, pic 12. The owner's initials, J F are faintly seen on the front.
