Scarce vintage Occupied Japan Celluloid Baby Doll. Measures 3 1/2 inches tall. Weight 1 ounce with stand. Marked on back "Made Occupied Japan". Condition - Excellent Condition for a doll made of such light weight materials. Slight looseness in the strings holding the arms and legs together. T are 4 small irregular pin holes approximately 1/16 to 1/8 inches on the inside top of each arm and leg near the seam above the string holes. These resemble manufacturing flaws and are in nearly identical places on each of the appendages and are not visible when the arms and legs are in their normal positions.Celluloid Baby Dolls of this type are very cute and are one of the most highly collectable of the Occupied Japan items. The homemade stand is not an occupied Japan item but is included with this Doll for display purposes. PayPal is accepted for on-line payment.
