Very unusual and harder to find fan made by General Electric circa early 30's......Item is intact and in pretty good condition, ceiling support brackets are still intact as well, but the cord is cut and it has not been tested.....Model on the is CAT 55X162.....Cage is 14" across and the blades are cups that filter the air sideways.....Odd configuration but a fun looking idea.....Black paint is all orignal and it is pretty intact.....Brass tag on the back and aluminum tag up front.....Cage is good and straight on this one.....Blades turn just fine and nothing appears missing, it has had a pretty easy life and is not all hacked up.....More desireable model will make a good find for the right collector as a winter project......Buyer pays 18.00 shipped
