Folds up . Cover is cream with black writing. There is a coat of arms at the top. Underneath it says ORDNANCE SURVEY. there is a line, then BEDFORDASHIRE, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, HUNTINGDONSHIRE, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE, AND RUTLAND. Parts of sheets 11,12,15, 16. Then a line Then it sates, SCALE 4 MILES TO 1 INCH PRICE ONE SHILLING. On the back is a black diagram on cream of the sheets of the map. The paper back has a linen like texture, a bit like it has been mounted on linen? don't know what paper they used then, and has browned. The front of the map is fine. On the bottom it says That it was printed in the Ordnance survey map, 1901, this is reduced from the one inch version. RAILWAYS REVISED TO 1907. sO I AM ASSUMING THIS MAP DATES TO THE EARLY 1900'S ROADS ARE MARKED AS 1ST, 2ND OR 3RD CLASS
