This is a unique and lovely tea pot for all you tea pot or Oriental item collectors. It was one of my mothers items. My feedback speaks for itself. Buy with confidence. This is a very dark brown tea pot with what I believe to be a fruit design on it. The design is embossed quite highly. T is also gold trim on the tea pot, handle, spout, lid and knob. T are many colors in the design as you can see on the pictures. T are no chips, cracks, scrapes or hairlines on this tea pot. On the picture that shows the bottom you will notice a spot. That spot is t but it is completely brown on the bottom. The flash made it turn that color. In fact t are five little embossed spots and why they are t is a puzzle to me. On the bottom t is an M over a G and made in Japan. This tea pot is 4 3/4" tall counting the knob, 5" in diameter with out the handle and spout and the total width or length is 8 1/8".
