Vintage Original 1992 Russian Matryoshka Nesting Doll Search Prev Stop Play Next we have a Vintage Matryoshka / Russian Nesting Doll 5 pc. wooden ~ Made in USSR from cured Linden Wood Rare 1992 ~ " Yoscar Ola " Traditional doll from the city of Yoscar Ola. These dolls are called Polek Maidens and Marijaha. They exhibit an Asian flavor, which is most noticeable in the slant of the eyes. One wooden figure fits inside the other.... It was found stored away in a box in an attic the bottom of the doll has writing on it saying its a Russian Doll and was purchased in Poland in 1992 I was told the value of this set in the great condition that it is in, is around $ 65.00 - $80.00 Wood is Colorfully painted (not chipped or discolored)~ Well kept Condition ~ extremely clean ~ wood inside the dolls is like new and not discolored All payments must be made within 3 days of auction closing.
