This is an original photograph from a large collection I will be selling. These were given to my former husband (who has passed away) when he was a child, by an elderly neighbor. The neighbor was an photographer for the military. I think from looking on the internet that this may be one of Dumont's early blimps, he began building in 1901, from what I can tell. This is an original photo. 9x7. Photo numbered 462. I had them looked at by J.R. Westfall who does appraisals for the San Diego air & space museum as well as being a curator on the Midway. When he saw my photos he was quite surprised & told me that he thought I would be bringing the usual junk, but was quite impressed. He gave me a verbal appraisal of 30-50,000. on the lot of my photos. I will accept paypal only on the photos as I have too many to keep track of incoming payments. Buyer will pay shipping & insurance to the final value. No reserve, buyers determine value, will combine shipping for multiple purchases.
