Vintage original genuine 1950's - 1960's MARX Mechanical Wind-Up Gorilla Robot with Original Box.Having the original box makes this toy even rarer. The gorilla measures about 7.5" tall and is operational. When you wind him up he pounds his chest and moves forward. Only missing the little collar that went around the neck which does not affect function at all and most were always taken off, Marked with Marx Made In Japan paper on the back of toy. There maybe discoloration on the fur as the picture shows normal for age and is still considered great condition!Please see the pictures as I have tried to represent the gorilla and the box to the best of my ability. I also have a hyperlink on YouTube if you want a 5 minute video detailing more the exact item.You will not find another one of these with the box anytime soon. I cannot emphasize how rare this toy is with the original box. I will entertain reasonable offers one of the rarest toys to find period!
