Here is a lovely ornate silver plated teapot. I have to admit this is not my area of expertise, so I will provide many pictures for you to see for yourself what I am listing and I will write a little exactly as I see it, This tea pot stands at approx 8.3inches, widest width (handle to spout) approx 10.5 inches, it weight approx 962grams, on my basic kitchen scales! The teapot is highly decorated with pretty swirls and flowers all around, the spout is formed to look like an animal mouth, possibly fish, duck or similar, has a bird type handle on the lid. On the hinge of the lid it is engraved with 80, I have no idea what this stands for, on the bottom is some possibly Arabic writing, I'm afraid it is very hard to get it to show well on photos. Nice and unusual old teapot, very sturdy, the lid doesn't sit quite flush but the hinge is good, very little discolouring inside.
