Vintage OTTO WARBURG Silver Medal from the Medical Heritage Society's Medallic History of Science Collection weighing ~20.8 grams of solid sterling silver issued by The Franklin Mint.This series of medals was issued to commemorate the greatest scientists and greatest scientific achievements in the history of science. The scientists to be honored were chosen in consultation with 33 of the world's outstanding scientific associations, institutes and universities There is tremendous value in the silver alone. But the value of this superb vintage art medal is more than just the silver, it is a beautiful frosty sterling silver proof from a limited edition collection issued by the Franklin Mint nearly 40 years ago.
