This is a vintage Oxweld Type W-15 welding blowpipe (torch), c. 1930, developed specifically for aircraft fuselage welding of tubular joints and light welding of a similar nature. Note that the valves are on the top of the handle to facilitate on the fly adjustments. The tip is made of chromed copper so that it can be bent for special situations. The torch is also very light, 9 oz., and the claim is that weight is evenly distributed for 'perfect' balance, it is claimed. It is in great cosmetic condition with no abuse and it has a nicely aged patina. It is untested.
