This is a lovely, pale blue, vintage dress which I believe to be from the early 1950's. It has a beautiful top layer with unique flower pattern. It still has its original label, which says "HEIRESS" as the maker. It has a scalloped neckline, its own underskirt and the skirt is full with great movement to it. There is a zipper along the left side and it works nice and smoothly. This dress is definitely wearable as-is, though there is some loose threading which is easily remedied, and a bit of discolouration in some spots which are not very noticeable. This dress really deserves to be worn again. The rough measurements are (laid flat): 14" (inches) waist 10" from armpit to armpit 30" length from waist to hem The hips are free due to the full skirt. I would recommend this as a size 10 to 12. !
