This scene of Palm Canyon -- located near Palm Springs, Calif. -- reminds me of the work of Stephen Willard. However, I do not see a stamp or signature on the front. The photo is in excellent condition with no stains or tears. I would date it to around the late 1930s or early '40s. It is housed in a very interesting blue and gold etched wood frame. In my opinion, the frame is worth the Buy It Now Price. I always do my best with descriptions, but please e-mail any questions. NOTE: I've been collecting photos for many years, and I've decided to sell my 1000-plus collection of hand colored and B&W images of California and the West.
