This auction is for a slide of a PAN AMERICAN WORLD AIRWAYS Boeing 727 passenger plane taken in 1967 at the Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Martin. Introduced in 1963, the Boeing 727 was the trendsetter of the "trijet" era and enjoyed being the most popular commercial jetliner for over a decade. Designed for a longer cruising range, shorter runway, and more efficient operation, the Boeing 727 was the aircraft of choice for medium range flights to smaller airports. Graced with the iconic blue globe and trim-line, these Pan Am jets forever epitomized the glamour of Caribbean vacations. The slide in auction is in beautiful excellent condition with no mildew or any kind of damage. The Kodachrome emulsion is as fresh as 40 years ago. Please see my other auctions for more vintage aircraft slides. Purchases can be combined to save on shipping.
