DESCRIPTIONThis auction is for a papier mache hen on nest. This piece is probably from the 1920s or 1930s although I am not really sure. I don't think it is newer than that. It is in fantastic original condition with just a few chips to the red finish (see pictures) and permanent dust in the groves. It measures 6 3/4 " long x 4 1/2 " wide x 6 " high. Most people call this papier mache but I have also seen it called egg-crate and pressed cardboard.If you have any questions, please email me.
