This auction is for a Vintage Parker 51 Mark1. Fountain Pen -Circa 1950's in Excellent condition. It's finished in Glossy Burgundy with Rolled Gold Cap. This is a full size Parker 51 fountain pen and measures 138mm (5 3/8"). Fully serviced. Made in England. Cosmetic condition is excellent-No blemishes. Detailed description: Barrel - Glossy Burgundy with a breather hole at the end. The barrel has been gently hand polished. It's free from any cracks, bite marks or visible scratches. All threads are intact. Cap - 1/10 12ct Rolled Gold. Free of any dents, cracks or visible scratches. The pocket clip is straight, tight and secure with a greyish pearlised tassie. The cap is marked ''PARKER'' below the tip of the pocket clip and 1/10 12ct R.Gold 'Made in England' at the back. Section - Free from any cracks or visible scratches and the section ring is perfect. Nib - Original Parker 585 14ct solid gold with a Fine/Medium Point. ( with a slight Italic style ) Filler - Aerometric, inscribed 'Parker 51' and the usual filling instructions. The filler unit is in excellent codition with a black plastic insert. The pen has been fully serviced, filled with ink and tested.
