Here is the opportunity to own a vintage maroon/burgundy Parker 51 traditional twist-action/rotary propelling pencil, with a rolled silver ca and gold (plated) clip/trim. The pencil is in good, used condition, with general surface wear, including the odd tiny dent/ding - all commensurate with age and use. It is fitted with the correct 0.9mm lead, and the cap pulls off (quite stiff) to reveal a virtually unused, but slightly discoloured eraser. The pencil functions very well in both directions - by rotating the cap, and features good cap imprints - PARKER below the clip, which is secure, tight and bright and R. SILVER on the other side. There is a good, complete grey "pearl" at the very top of the cap above the clip. The top of the barrel (near the cap) is also clearly marked PARKER and MADE IN ENGLAND . It is thought that this pencil dates from the 1950's or 1960's. I have more pens, pencils etc. to sell, so please take a look at my other items (and subsequent listings).
