From My Personal Collection at NO RESERVE is this newly restored 1939 "Star Clip" - "Double Jewel" SHADOW WAVE Vacumatic fountain pen from PARKER. Pearlescent Silver & Black with nice, clean chrome accents and a super rare "STAR CLIP". The elusive Star Clip was only issued during a brief period during 1939. Due to events then unfolding in Europe, Parker quickly pulled the Star Clip and replaced the symbol of Lifetime Guarantee with the Blue Diamond. Parker Arrow pocket clip, double cap bands, double black jewels, all excellent! This is an outstanding pen and a great everyday writer! The pen features a transparent "ink view" barrel and a nice semi-flex Parker Arrow nib, 14K solid gold with a nice, Fine tip! I'm sure the winning bidder will be very pleased! Newly restored Vacumatic fill system has a new diaphragm installed into the clean, speedline filler! Pen measures 5" (130mm) capped. No chips, cracks, bite marks, monograms or personalization! Barrel is impressed GEO S PARKER - PARKER VACUMATIC - MADE IN USA – 9 (1939 date code). Excellent Parker Arrow nib is solid 14K gold, nib is engraved: PARKER "Arrow" – USA - 9 . Excellent nib is a wide Medium tip, Semi-Flexible tines , with tines aligned and good tipping material. Pen is restored and in excellent working condition! Vacumatic fill system has a recently replaced diaphragm, and has been flushed and tested for leaks. Feed system has been cleaned and serviced. It will arrive ready for your favorite ink!!
