Beautiful Vintage Paul Detlefsen Print - metal plate at bottom "Spring Morn" Paul Detlefsen - Size 19.5" X 41" includes frame. Frame is wooden with a decorative edge. Wire type hanger on back. This type of print was often called a Sofa print and sold alongside sofa's at furniture stores through the late 40''s to the mid 60's, as they are sized to be aprox the same as the sofa over which is hangs. This print has a couple of issues common to prints of this age, they can be seen in the photos, the largest is a scratch across the middle, thin and about 5 1/2" long, I've been assured that this can be fixed by a restorer, however, I have had it hanging on my wall for years and it never bothered me, it is a bright, unfaded beautiful example of Detlefsen's work, my personal favorite with a lovely pink dogwood in the foreground. There are a couple of other smaller knicks and scratches that are not really noticeable on the print and a few on the frame.
