We are not experts so please see all photos and consider them a part of the description. This is a vintage Asahi Pentax S1 SLR (circa 1960) 35 MM camera with serial # 450409. The winning bidder also gets the original leather case, the vintage Asahi Pentax Light Meter and its original leather case, a vintage Kenco threaded lens hood cover and a Vintage Kenko SL 38 3 046 UV Filter. As for the camera, I see no damage, dings, dents, cracks, or chips. Not seeing any mold or smelling any mildew. This is a very clean camera as you can see in the many photos we took. The viewfinder shows a few black specs but this is normal and should not show up on film and can be cleaned by removing the top (if you know what you are doing or) or taking to a professional to have the prism cleaned. The mirrors inside show some normal light scuffs but as far as I can tell nothing bad or anything that would affect photos. Everything else looks very clean and appears to work as intended. The film advance works, the shutter appears to work on all settings. Again, I am no expert and this film has been mechanically tested to the best of my ability but has not been Film tested. Shutter fires and things appear to move as intended. The lens is an Auto- Takumar 1:2.2 / 55 by the Asahi Optical Co. and has a serial # of 602905. The leather case is the original and in pretty nice shape as well with no tears or cracks in the leather!! The Asahi Pentax Light Meter is a nice one as well. I don't really know how these work, I did put in a battery (not included) as the needle moved a bit from left to right but again, I do not know if it works to its full extent. I would think it does but I am not 100% sure how to use the settings. It also has the original Leather Case that is in nice shape. The Lens hood and the filter are both in nice condition.
