Rare Vintage Pepper Mill Grinder with a Reuge Music Box ~ Very Unique Wild Boars Head & Ring-Necked Pheasant ~ Made of a Hard Wood & Brass Overall this early find is in Really Nice Condition. Looks like it has never been used. It does have one loose screw on the base. It has a Working Reuge Swiss Musical Movement and plays L'Amour est bleu - Love is Blue and Sounds Beautiful . Nice patina. Well Made. We are unsure what kind of Grinder this is and do believe it to be a Pepper Mill, but could it be a Snuff Grinder ? Spice Grinder ? Coffee Mill ? Nutmeg Grinder ?. Measures approx. 6" wide (tip of handle to end of snout) x 11" tall and the base is approx 3 1/2" wide . It does come apart - t are 3 screws in the boars head and 2 screws for the handle - but we have not taken it apart.
