In our 20+ years of collecting coffee grinders, my husband and I found only one like this one up for auction. Most are square or lap models. You can get a nice comfortable grip on this one at the middle while turning the handle. Measurements are: just shy of 7" tall, the base has a 3-1/2" diameter and the handle is 4-5/8" long. The cream colored enamel has chipped away in several areas at the rim, but mostly on the underside of the base. The label which reads: "Made In France, Peugeot Freres" with the Lion logo is in excellent condition. T is a small metal knob on top used to push open the door to add the beans. The knob has some enamel loss, but the door slides easily. The handle turns easily as well and its wooden knob is intact with no splits or cracks in the wood but with much of the varnish/shellac worn away. The base contains a generous reservoir for the grounds. If you have any questions about this grinder, please email us. Insurance is optional but highly recommended. Shipping will be by Priority Mail. Thanks for checking out or auction.
