Photo 1. This is a Philadelphia Phillies 1940's Pennant the blue one with the Elephant , The three Pennants need to be clean , how ever I wouldn't know how to do this. This Pennant has a hole and a pin hole at the tip,there is a piece torn out at the back top that can be seen in photo, there are some creases on this Pennant.Photo 2. This one is 1943-1944 Philadelphia Phillies/Blue Jay's Pennant , this one is grey with the yellow bird on it. In 1943, Dupont heir Robert Carpenter, Jr. tookover the unsuccessful Philadelphia Phillies franchise. In attempts to break theclub’s losing ways, he asked fans to vote for a new nickname, and a Blue Jay logo with blue and gold colors was adopted. However, Johns Hopkins students vehemently protested the embracement of their own logo, and the Blue Jays were put to rest in 1946. Photo 3. This is a 1950 National League Champions Pennant, this Pennant has stains, creases and is dirty also but no tares.
