Color Postcard. Printed on Front " Tsingtau Kronprinzenstrate.." (Gloss Face) From Wikipedia: Tsingtau : German name during concession period, written in German romanization of Chinese, known as Lessing-Othmer . Concession period started in the late 1800's and ended in 1922. It is likely this postcard is from 1907 to 1911. I date this because my mother (now 91) had an uncle who left Germany to fight in Asia from 1907 to ???. He sent back to his family a variety of postcards that helped them understand where he was, what he was seeing, etc. No one in the family was interested in these postcards, so I have decided to study Uncle Otto's travels, document events, and sell some of the postcards in great condition. The reserse side is blank, un posted. Printed "Postkarte" Split for address and correspondence, "Verlag: Warenhau Max Grill, Tsingtau, China" on the side.A 5187 10 in the corner. Good condition.
