VINTAGE PLASTIC & BAKELITE -7 EARRING SETS, 5 PINS ++ Item Description This lot of vintage hard plastic and possible Bakelite jewelry items is from an estate jewelry box that may be of interest to you. I did not test any of the products but started them all at a low unreserved price. There are 7 sets of earrings including a nice set of 1 3/8 inch wide incised earring with many inset rhinestones that really have sparkle. The Maple leaf earrings set on a curve are almost 3 inches in side and The yellow flowers are very delicate and very realistic. The butterscotch screw back earrings and have an inset of red rose buds and there some interesting ball earrings also. There is a red flower ring that seems to be a small size and an interesting scarf slide that is a girl carrying a basket of produce on her head and stands2 3/4 inches tall with a note that is is from Mexico from the WWII era. The last group of 5 vintage pins has a 1 3/4 inch across pin with 3 leaf drops that move and a pretty coral color detailed pin. I am not sure of the material on the carved rose pin and it is all one piece including its very thin flat background with cut-outs and measures 1 1/2 inches across. I suspect that the last 2 may be Bakelite and the 1 3/4 inch elephant has some surface scratches and the tiny sail boat on the watter has a braided string detail and a flat sail top that may have not been originally made this way as there is a groove at the top. Perhaps you will find some items of interest in this lot all of the backings seem to be in good shape and I do not see and obvious damages. I also have another lot that is a repair lot and might be great for altered art or creative uses as it is not perfect but made of the same materials.
