A Polaroid SX-70 camera outfit in film tested condition comprising the folowing;- 1. The camera- An early SX-70 with the plain glass focussing screen and no split image dot (these cameras were made from 10/72 to 10/73). The lens has the line markings around it with no distance scale. Camera is fully working and has been tested with a pack of Impossible PX-70 film (and a flash bar)- needed about 1/2 a division towards darken for best pix, but every pack of Impossible is different so you you will need to look at your first picture out to determine this setting. Camera is clean to the outside- leather complete and unstained, some thumbnail marks to it around the viewfinder and on base of camera but nothing deep. Camera opens and closes correctly. Faint mirror lines visible through viewfinder and being an early model has considerable distortion at edges of field of view through viewfinder, but this is in optics not used to take the photo so will not affect picture quality. Rollers clean except for a paste line right in the centre of one roller- run a finger nail over the roller and you can feel it is flat, just discoloration in the roller coating. 2. 112 Cable release- plugs into side of camera to provide remote release. 3. 111 Tripod mount- No socket on camera so you need this to mount the camera to the tripod- remember to open the read more
