is a very nice old custom broad axe........the head is polished not chromed........the head is in very good restored condition...mirror finish on all sides,edges and head face....no cracks,rust,chips or welds.....this head had no markings of a maker......it is mounted on a very nice custom handshaped hand made handle......the whole axe was done by myself in oregon.......the handle is made of a combination of hardwoods such as wenge,padouk,zebrawood and hickory.......all glued with water and weather proof glue......this axe feels nice in the hand.....very smooth and balanced well......this is a strong handle not just for looks it could be used for work if one felt the need .......i spend the time and cut the heads in tight and right......the head is not going to fly off.......any questions please axe.......i do combine and ship via usps.....i do pack well.....paypal is best......shipping quoted in auction is intended for lower 48 united states only......others may be more.......international bidders expect shipping to be more than price quoted in auction.....although i have never had a problem i do recomend insurence........speedy payment is always appreciated.....thanks and please see my other axes and sling shots i have listed now as well
