Here today is a very pretty vintage ponytail Barbie doll made by Mattel in the early 1960's that is marked on her right bum area. I am unfamiliar with the Barbie doll but I will try and describe her the best I can. She is wearing a red bathing suite that I believe is original to her and her black open toed high heels. The bathing suit has a few missing threads as shown in the pictures on one side. It is a very simple fix and you really don't notice it, otherwise in good clean condition. Barbie has a nice blonde full head of hair that she wears in a ponytail. I don't see any cuts or missing hair, but it could use a little styling. Her face paint is very good with blue eyes and red lips. It doesn't appear she has had any touch ups. Barbie has holes for earnings but it doesn't appear she has ever had any on or possibly for just a short period. There is no green, discoloration. and no large holes. Barbie's body has some surface dirt and dust that looks like it can be easily cleaned. I don't see any marks, discolorations, fades, no joint cracks or splits and no odors. She is very sound and can stand and hold posses on her own. She has all fingers and toes with red original nail polish. Considering the age of Barbie, it is my opinion, she is in very good condition. It doesn't appear she has been played with, possibly only displayed. Thanks
