A beautiful, sweet-faced vintage #3 Ponytail Barbie doll with all-original face paint in near-mint condition (no rubs, but lip paint and blush have lightened somewhat due to oxidation (over the past 53 years). There are earring holes that appear dark on the inside, but there is no green inside or around earring holes. The hair is uncut with no missing hairplugs; the bangs appear un-brushed; the long hair was soiled, so it has been carefully cleaned, and the ponytail has been nicely re-done and re-wrapped. All joints are nice and tight, and overall vinyl coloring is very even and head and body coloring match nicely. There are some light surface scuffs on body, arms, and legs, a tiny light grayish speck on outside of lower left arm; there is some reddish staining across tops of feet and some on bottom of feet; there is what appears to be a small and shallow fingernail gouge at back of upper right arm (can be seen in next-to-last picture), about 3/8" to right of arm joint area. The original vintage zebra-striped swimsuit is in excellent condition with some dinginess and the elastic at top front has been replaced, so the top stays up nicely.
