VINTAGE PORCELAIN CIGAR HOLDER MATCH STRIKER SHOEMAKER We have on eBay at this time 2 late 1800's figural cigar and match holders in fine porcelain. Both are marked "S&S", along with a 3-digit production code. Neither has a country of origin (they look German) so they are likely before 1891 when such markings were required. A typed note found in one, left by t by the elderly owner's father, indicated that they were from 1885, without saying how he knew. Both are in absolutely mint condition, no issues whatsoever, just perfect. Either can be sent Priority for $7.90 in the USA. OFFERED IN THIS AUCTION: the shoemaker or bootmaker. The typed note suggests that the larger boot holds cigars, the smaller boot matches, and the low tub used matches or ashes.
