Vintage Porcelain Pedestal or Candle Holder Adorned With Cherubs And Gilt This unique little piece appears to be a pedestal but could be a candle holder the decorative scene painted on the sides are reminiscent of many frescoes of Europe. The hallmark on the bottom is the mark used by the Imperial and Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Vienna from 1744 to 1864 and also happens to be a mark that was copied quite often by other manufactures. Regardless whether it is truly 150-270 years old it is a piece of history with a style and quality not produced these days. Approximate Dimensions: 2.25" tall x 4.375" wide @ top x 5.1875" wide @ base - dimension inside the gilt rim 3.8125" Condition: No chips, cracks or crazing ~ Minor wear to gilt on rim at top ~ Zoom photos for detail
