This Auction is for 1 Vintage/Antique Standard Oil Polarine Porcelain Sign. I bought this sign at auction the owner got the sign from his uncle that ran a gas station in Texas, he retired and closed the station in the early 50's and brought the sign to Lebanon and put it in storage in another uncles barn w it stayed until it went to auction this year. The sign has some damage to it and we have tried to show as best we can through the pictures if you need more pictures or have any questions please email us and we will try to answer them or email more photo's. I am not sure yet as to the year the sign was made but from what the owner has told me it is at least 55 years old and may have been produced as early as the 1920's but I am not sure, please check for yourself. The sign is 30 inches Diameter and is 2 sided. the first five pictures are of one side and the next five are of the other side we added a second picture of both sides for the last two pictures. This sign will make a great addition to any serious collectors collection. The sign is an original and NOT a reproduction or repaired if you are looking for a real collector piece it is. It has some chips and and scuff's things you would expect to see on antiques if you are looking for something perfect this is not for you but if you are a collector of Vintage/Anitique then this one is for you see the photo's for the description if you need more I will email you more pictures.
