Vintage Postage Stamp-O-Matic "Roll Stamp Venders for Postage Trade or Savings in Various Denominations" This auction is for a Vintage Postage Stamp-O-Matic . This white metal stamp machine was made by the Stamp-O-Matic Corporation in Chicago, IL a product of the Northwestern Corporation, Morris, IL. I assume this is from the mid 1900's but not quite sure. It is a 2 slot dispenser (at top) for one-cent stamps and four-cent stamps. The first slot is for 4 one-cent stamps for a nickel and the second is for 2 four-cent stamps for a dime. Insert the money, turn a handle on the side and out pops a stamp. This machine would be placed on a counter top to dispense the stamps. This stamp machine also comes with the key, which when turned will take the whole cylinder out and the entire cover can be taken off, as seen in the pictures. The dimensions of this postage machine are 8 3/4" wide x 14 1/2" tall x 8 1/4" deep. As you can see in the pictures, it is starting to rust, and t are a few other visual eye sores. I don't think that this has ever been used, evident by the fake stamps that are still found in it. And I don't know if the dispensers correctly work or not. I'm sure if it doesn't it could easily be fixed. This would be a great addition to any vintage collection. Bid now to own a piece of US history! Additional fee for shipping read more
