Offered for your consideration is a set of four Vintage Pottery/Porcelain Still Banks of American Indian figures. are the specifics, left to right: Indian Girl, porcelain, ca.1935, 3 1/4" high, 2" wide, listed in Stoddard's collector book, plate 101, made in Japan. T are no chips or cracks, excellent condition. The glaze misses were done during manufacture (on all of these banks). Small Indian, porcelain ca.1935, 3 1/8" high, 2 1/2" wide, listed in Stoddard's book, plate 97, made in Japan. T are no chips or cracks, excellent condition. Thin Indian, porcelain, ca.1935, 4 1/4" high, 2 1/4" wide, listed in Stoddard's book, plate 99, not stamped but thought to be made in Japan. No chips or cracks, but has a small flea bite to the bottom right side, orange area. Overall excellent condition. Sad Indian, porcelain, ca.1935, 4" high, 3 1/4" wide, listed in Stoddard's book, plate 96, made in Japan. Someone has added initials of "NE" on the bottom. T is a glaze pop or very small flea bite on the side of the nose, but no chips or cracks. Overall excellent condition. The coin slots are all perfect. I don't think you will find a better set of banks offered anytime soon. T is a small reasonable reserve on this auction. I'd like to see these go to a wonderful new home!
