We invite you to consider this vintage POW/MIA bracelet from the Vietnam war. It was made by VIVA (stamped on the back of the bracelet) which stands for Voices in Vital America, the POW/MIA Bracelet Campaign begun by Carol Bates and Kaye Hunter. Carol also served as its National Chairman with Bob Hope and Martha Raye as honorary Co-Chairmen. I purchased and wore this bracelet myself for a long time in the early 1970's. (I tried to contact the soldier's family at that time also but my letter was returned unopened.) The name on the bracelet was Sgt. W. Darrell Johnson, 1-19-68.
