These are two very elegant sushi dishes made in Japan prior to Occupation. They are porcelain with scalloped edges and gold gilding. The leaf design painted on the body of the dish, is done in beautiful burnt orange and rust with taupe stems, emerald green accent, all done on a pristine white glazed background. These dishes are in pristine condition. One of the leaves does have a small flea bite scratch in the paint, but t are no chips, cracks, or crazing.
