This is one of the most beautiful wire baskets I have ever seen. Each of the vertical wires bend at the bottom of the basket and extent radially toward the center of the bottom. Then they loop and extend back out to the outside again. One more bend and back to vertical again. The end result is a striking radial design in the bottom. Although t is slight oxidation, the wires in this basket are all very strong. I call this an egg basket but it is very large as egg baskets go. I can visualize it being used to bring vegetables in from the garden. What do I know? It measures 14 ½ inches in diameter at the top, about 11 inches in diameter at the bottom and it stands 8 ½ inches tall. It also has a sturdy wire handle. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
