Up for auction is a vintage Proctor Silex coffee Percolator that has 2 interior lights that allow you to see through your coffee or water as it perks. The light bulbs do work but if they need replaced, you can buy them at most hardware stores. You can also view and pour in a low light or dark room. The selector for the strength of coffee is also lighted and has a graduated scale. This is a 10 cup pot. The seal is still in very good condition. All internal parts are stainless steel for easy cleaning for long use. T is a button on top of the lid which grabs the coffee basket and tube and when lifting, the lid will pull everything out at one time. Push the button again and it will release the tube and basket into a receptacle or sink. This way, you dont have to touch the hot coffee grounds. I believe this was made in the late 60's.
