This Vintage Pullman Porter's Brush is in Excellent Condition. The following information about this brush was obtain for the American on the Move web-site. /onthemove/collection/object_114.html Brush with two kinds of bristles. L 7" x W 1 1/4" W x 1 1/4 H Date Made: ca. 1920s-40s At a passenger's request, a Pullman porter would "dust off" a sleeping-car passenger's clothing. The two types of bristles on a Pullman Co. clothes brush (soft and harder) accommodated different fabrics without damage to the fabric.
