This neat piece was introduced in 1943. It features a solid glass handle, held on with a stainless steel band, and a glass lid. The lid says Pyrex, 7756-C.” The backstamp on the teapot reads “8446B 6 Cup, Pyrex, Made In U.S.A. ” The stainless steel band says “Boil Dry Or Use On Electric Range Without Grid Will Cause Breakage,” “Stainless,” and the Pyrex Flameware logo. This piece is in very good condition! There are no cracks or scratches. The glass is clear, with no clouding or scuffing. The stainless steel is bright & beautiful. There is one small chip in one of the tabs of the lid, as shown in the photos. It has been thoroughly cleaned and will just need a light washing before use or display.
