Gorgeous vibrant colors in this handmade Lone Star/ Star of Bethleham quilt. This is signed and dated 1986 by Jewel Holmes. Mrs. Holmes is a Texas resident who has been quilting for the past 50 years! Her technique is superb! The star on the pale yellow ground is made up of Red, Green, Taupe, Brown, Yellow, Gold and Brown. Size 93 x 80. The quilt has never been used, but as expected with quilts of this age, there a couple of very small spots, that I believe will come out when washed. Truly beautiful!
