This auction is for a railroad signal audio track circuit from Electro Pneumatic Corporation (EPC) model EPIC IIB. To the best of our knowledge, it was last used on the Southern Pacific Coast Line near San Luis Obispo (central California). It receives 10 VDC battery from the signal case and generates/receives 10.0 KHZ tones to monitor track occupancy. It measures approximately 7 1/2 inches tall by 10 inches deep by 5 inches wide. There are no calibration stickers on it with dates as many of the older railroad relays have. Email with questions or for more pictures. The San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum, SLORRM, located in San Luis Obispo California is housed in the original 1894 Southern Pacific Railroad Freighthouse. We are currently raising money for new projects and appreciate your looking and bidding. If you are in the California Central Coast area, please stop by the museum or visit our website.Vintage Railroad Signal Audio Track Circuit EPIC IIB #32
