VINTAGE RAILROAD TELE-COM SPEAKER RELAY TELEPHONE DEVICE ON SCISSOR ARM?? Up for auction is what I believe to be a vintage Railroad Telephone / Intercom device affixed on the end of a scissor arm. I have been told there would have been a transmitter box to go with it…and functioned as a telephone type device. ??? Measures 11-3/4” top to bottom and 5-1/2” dia. The opposite side of the scissor arm has a bakelite control knob. There is rust on the outside, the cone on the inside does not look to be cracked – but I have not disassembled it to investigate. I am unable to test it as it is assembled with the old wiring. I can not find any name or logo on the unit, but I believe it could be a great piece of railroad history.
