This is the best example of a vintage chenille peacock bedspread that I have seen in many years. I have seen them in many different colors on white or yellow backgrounds but this is the first red peacocks on red background that I have seen. Also, not only does it feature the magnificent peacocks in the center, but t are also another two peacocks on the upper part that would cover your pillows. It makes a truly exquisite presentation. Originally, it is meant for a full size bed, which would make the beautiful chenille hearts filled with wonderful color, hang to the floor all the way around. I am showing it on my queen size bed with a white cotton bedskirt, which also works very well. In the evening, with just a soft light turned on, it casts the most beautiful glow. And in the daytime, the colors are at their most vibrant. This bedspread has been really taken care of, as the only thing I see wrong is on the upper right corner, the white chenille has a little staining. It is not detracting from the bedspread but if you wanted, it could probably be fixed quite easily with any household laundry cleaner. I have looked it over really well. It measures 88 inches by 99 1/2 inches. T are no holes, tears or rips. Also, the chenille is in the best shape of any spreads I have come across. The entire bedspread has the softest feel, which denotes a very well taken care of vintage spread. Again, I can't say enough about the quality of this wonderful vintage chenille bedspread. If red is your favorite color, and you love vintage linens, you will appreciate this truly rare find. I accept Paypal, money order or cashiers' check. Shipping is based on zip code, shipping USPS. Insurance is optional and must be requested and paid by winning bidder. I use care in packaging, but do not guarantee uninsured packages. I offer postal receipts as proof that items have been shipped. If a winning bidder pays for insurance and I fail to insure with the postal service I will personally guarantee coverage.
