Mid-Century design at it's best by Raymond Lowey , an icon of modernism! A complete set service for 12 including dinner plate, salad plate, butter plate, and cup & saucer in 'Sunburst' pattern, and creamer and sugar. (5) Serving pieces include: 1 covered vegetable dish, 2 platters, 1 large bowl, 1 cake plate in 'Gems' pattern. All original, circa 1954, not reproduction, or later re-issue. From original owner with original felt liners from prominent Chicago, Illinois jeweler btw. all plates. Mint condition: no chips, cracks, flaws, crazing. This is for the serious collector of Lowey, Modernism, or Rosenthal china, or a great gift for that person. Buyer pays all shipping. Pick up in Chicago is available.
