Offering a vintage limited drypoint etching of a reclining nude done by DeWitt Hardy (1940-). Pencil signed by the artist on the margin at the bottom right and the edition number 33 (of a total of 50 made) at the bottom left. Plate size is 5.75 X 8.75 in., overall size of the woven rag paper is 10.5 X 14.75 in. Margins are full, untrimmed and the etching is as new, never sold or on display until now. This came from the gallery of the Ogunquit, Maine artist Chris Ritter (1906-1976) and was purchased by us when the estate of his wife was liquidated a few years ago. Etching dates from the early 1970s. No reserve.
